About the brand mark

The primary objective was to create a combination logo that honors the artwork of the client’s late father through a visual representation of the Tlacuilo, the Aztec painter-scribe from pre-Hispanic Mexico and Mesoamerica. This inclusion also pays tribute to the Tlacuilo’s significant role as a precursor to notaries in Mexico. The design approach focused on crafting a clean, modern interpretation of this iconic figure’s pictogram, that would seamlessly translate across stationery and digital platforms.
